Booking conditions, Yr Helyg / The Willows LL53 7RW
Having a booking with us means that you have entering into a legally binding contract, governed by English Law.
A condition of that contract is for us to reserve the pitch and not let it out to anyone else, and for you to arrive and use it.
Persons on Site
Only guests and visitors aged over 18 years are allowed on the site. Children are not allowed on site at any time.
Dogs/Pets
Dogs/pets are not to be left in units if you are not onsite. If a dog is found to have been left in an unattended unit whilst you are offsite, we reserve the right to break in and rescue. The police will likely be informed. Dogs must be kept on a lead while on site. We ask you clean up immediately after your dog and dogs do not foul pitches. Maximum of 3 dogs per pitch. Pets in our self catering/glamping accommodation is limited as shown on the booking.
Awnings/Storage Tents/Gazebos
We do not charge extra for awnings or storage tents however if you are pitched in the Main Field, they must be erected on the gravel and not on the grass. We do not allow sleeping in awnings.
Gazebos are not permitted without prior permission and will be judged by weather conditions at the time.
The Pitch
The pitch offered is only for the declared number of persons/dogs/cars etc. If you arrive with more people, more cars, different tent etc. We may not have an alternative pitch for you. If your booking varies, always check with us in advance prior to setting off on your journey.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival time is after 1 pm. Departure time is before 11 am.
Late Arrivals
All arrivals should aim to be checked in no later than 6 pm. However if you are delayed and anticipate that you will be later than 6pm please contact us via our mobile number – 07579 058 761 – to let us know.
Deposits and Balance Payments
A deposit is the amount charged in consideration of reserving a pitch for you i.e. you are paying us to reserve that pitch for you for your benefit and to our detriment of us not being able to reserve it for somebody else.
If you cancel or are unable to arrive your deposit is not refundable, as the service of reserving the pitch for you will already have been fulfilled.
Deposits are deductible from the total charge for your stay. We will, if not a last minute cancellation, try if possible to transfer your booking to a later a date within the same season as your original booking.
If we must cancel your booking (not including Local Authority, Government, Recognised Authority, Closures for whatever the reason restrictions) we will refund your deposit.
COVID: If covid interferes in any way with a booking we will transfer to another date.
Balance payments are required 28 days in advance of your arrival.
No refunds will be given for bad weather, early departure or cancellation. We advise that you take out holiday insurance.
Metered Electric Hook-ups
Electricity meters are attached to all hook-ups. This includes all hardstanding and grass pitches. Top-ups of electricity is available at the site office. Electricity is sold to you at the price that we pay for it. Any electric left on the meter at the end of your stay will be refunded to you.
We feel this is a fairer system than blanket price increases since it results in customers paying ONLY for what they use. All pitch prices therefore remain unchanged since 2022.
Electric Vehicle Charging
If you wish to charge an electric vehicle, please use the EV chargers provided. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN CABLE. Do not use pitch hook-ups – this will trip the whole site. Please do not attempt it: £50 charge for misuse of hookups. EV charging is for on-site residents only and not general public.
Campfire/Fire Pits
No campfires/fire pits raised or otherwise allowed to be used on site. Raised charcoal BBQs are allowed. BBQ bricks are provided around the site for your use.
Washing Lines
We do not allow washing lines however rotary lines accepted. A washing line for your use is available in the camping field. Items are left at your own risk.
Flag Poles
No flags/poles of any kind are permitted.
Electric Heaters
No electric heaters permitted in awnings as per Health and Safety Regulations.
Balls, Games, Cycling
Please note that cycling, ball games including boule or the playing of any kind is not permitted on the site.
Drones
The flying of drones from the site or over the site without permission is not permitted. Anyone found flying a drone over the site will likely be asked to leave the site.
Visitors
All visitors must be 18 years old or over. No children are allowed on site at any time.
Visitors by prior arrangement only with site management only. You must greet your visitors at the entrance. Visitors are not permitted to wander the site without you present. Management will advise where your visitors can park. They will not be allowed to park near your unit. There must be no more than 4 persons total in your group.
Groups
We do not accept any groups. Groups are classified as more than 4 people
Individual unit bookings which upon arrival constitute bookings made as part of a group are likely to be asked to leave.
No refunds will be given.
Noise
No loud music to be played at anytime.
Noise that is likely to, or does, disturb others will not be tolerated at any time, you are likely to be told to leave. No refunds will be given.
The use of foul language at anytime is not acceptable, you will be told to leave. No refunds will be given.
Willerby Static
Due to Insurance Conditions and Fire Regulations, no more than 3 persons are allowed to stay overnight in the Park Home.
Loyalty Cards
You will be issued with a Loyalty Card on departure. When you have accumulated 10 fully paid nights (whether continuous or not), you will receive a free night from us.
To redeem your free night, we ask that you get in touch with the park BEFORE paying your remaining balance. Regrettably, amendments cannot be made once you have been sent a confirmation email.
In order to validate and redeem your free night, you must present your card on arrival.
Only one free night can be redeemed per stay.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Nights cannot be redeemed during bank holidays. The offer cannot be transferred to any other persons.
Damage to Property
Any damage caused to property belonging to The Willows must be paid for prior to departure.
Caveat
We reserve the right to refuse site entry to, or eject from the site, anyone we consider to be under the influence of alcohol. In this instance no refund will be made.
Please note confirmation of a booking implies that you have read and understood the Booking Conditions.
The proprietor reserves the right to refuse entry, or eject from the site at any time any person(s) causing a nuisance, disturbance, and/or breaching of site conditions. No refund will be made.
Our price guide is a guide. Prices may vary during the season due to offers etc. The price offered upon booking is the agreed price.
Commercial Vehicles
If you wish to bring a commercial vehicle on site, you must first speak with Reception before booking.
